We’re currently looking for a confident, experienced Support Worker to join a brilliant team in Caerphilly. You’ll be supporting a bright and cheerful young girl with complex clinical needs in the comfort of her home. Your role is all about bringing structure, stability, and warmth to her day‑to‑day routine while providing specialist care that truly makes a difference.
You do need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to work as a Support Worker with us. This is because all our customers live in their own homes in the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 (moving to 2:1) support including waking night shifts
- Delivering safe, compassionate care tailored to complex medical needs
- Monitoring and managing seizure activity with confidence
- Assisting with PEG feeding, suctioning, and oxygen therapy
- Helping create fun, structured, and engaging daily experiences
- Collaborating with parents and the wider care team to provide holistic support
Experience:
- PEG feeding: 2 years (preferred)
- Epilepsy & Complex seizure management: 2 years (preferred)
- Working with children with complex clinical needs: 2 years (preferred)
