We are seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our team. You will be supporting children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in their homes and out in the community.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, patient, and proactive, with a passion for helping young people live fulfilling and independent lives.

Responsibilities

As the Care Assistant/Support worker you will provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

Assist with community activities, social outings, and daily living skills.

Use positive behaviour support strategies to manage challenging behaviour.

Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes.

Travel between Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells as part of your role.

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Requirements

As the Care Assistant/Support Worker previous experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities / challenging behaviour

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)

Ability to travel between Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells

Willingness to work flexible shorter shifts (4 hours)

Reliable, caring, and committed to safeguarding children
