The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care and support.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Support children to achieve positive outcomes in education, independence and daily living.
- Complete accurate records, reports and care documentation.
- Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times.
- Work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic home environment.
- Participate in sleep-in shifts on a rota basis.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
- Previous experience working within a Children's Residential Home.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation.
- Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
