The Role:
- Registered Manager of a 4-bedded EBD childrens home
- Overall responsibility for the safe and effective running of the service
- Ensure full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
- Lead, manage, and develop a dedicated residential staff team
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and risk management processes
- Maintain high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, budgets, and operational performance
- Build strong relationships with external professionals and agencies
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain GOOD Ofsted rating
The Person Applying Must:
- Hold a full UK driving licence (essential car driver required)
- Have proven experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Have a background in childrens residential care, ideally EBD
- Possess strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- Be a confident and capable leader with staff management experience
- Be calm, resilient, and able to manage challenging situations effectively
- Be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
- Have strong organisational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Be committed to delivering a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
