The Role:
- Registered Manager for a newly established 3-bed home
- Responsible for setting up and operationally leading the service from launch
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care, and internal quality assurance
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to meet compliance expectations
- Embed policies, procedures, and staffing structures within the home
- Lead recruitment, induction, and development of the staff team
- Ensure safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young people
- Drive service quality and prepare for future regulatory scrutiny where applicable
- Manage day-to-day operations, risk, and service development
The Person:
- Applying MUST have previous Ofsted experience (essential requirement)
- Experienced Registered Manager or strong senior manager in residential care
- Confident working in new or developing services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards
- Able to lead a service independently with minimal initial structure
- Resilient, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent organisational and decision-making abilities
