Job Description Registered Manager Childrens Residential Home Location:Grays (DA12) Salary: £55,000 £65,000 per annum Service: New 3-bed home (Unregulated) RI already in place Requirement: MUST have Ofsted experience (essential) Urgency: ASAP start Benefits ~£55,000 £65,000 per annum salary ~ Opportunity to launch and shape a brand-new 3-bed service ~ RI (Responsible Individual) already in place for support and oversight ~ Strong autonomy in setting up and embedding service culture ~ Career progression potential within a growing organisation ~ Opportunity to make a significant impact from day one ~ Supportive leadership structure while building the home The Company Growing and ambitious care provider expanding into new services Focus on high-quality residential and semi-independent provisions Commitment to strong safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people Experienced senior leadership team with RI oversight in place Invested in building well-structured, compliant and therapeutic environments Developing services with long-term growth and stability in mind The Role Registered Manager for a newly established 3-bed home Responsible for setting up and operationally leading the service from launch Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care, and internal quality assurance Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to meet compliance expectations Embed policies, procedures, and staffing structures within the home Lead recruitment, induction, and development of the staff team Ensure safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young people Drive service quality and prepare for future regulatory scrutiny where applicable Manage day-to-day operations, risk, and service development The Person Applying MUST have previous Ofsted experience (essential requirement) Experienced Registered Manager or strong senior manager in residential care Confident working in new or developing services Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards Able to lead a service independently with minimal initial structure Resilient, proactive, and solution-focused approach Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent organisational and decision-making abilities Passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for young people JBRP1_UKTJ
