Role:
- Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the home
- Lead shifts and provide strong leadership to the care team
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are implemented effectively
- Promote safeguarding, structure and positive behaviour support
- Support staff supervision, training and development
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
- Help create a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people
Person:
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 (desirable)
- Experience in a childrens residential care setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Confident leading shifts and supporting a team
- Able to motivate, guide and develop staff
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Calm, consistent and child-focused approach
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
