We are a small, privately run Nursing Home, dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm and supportive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead our wonderful team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents.
About the Role
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and promoting a culture of excellence in care delivery. You will oversee all aspects of clinical and operational management, providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the home in line with company policies and CQC standards.
- Oversee payroll, invoices, accounts.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, health, and safety for residents and staff.
- Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team of nurses and care staff.
- Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage staff training and development to maintain high levels of clinical competence.
- Maintain compliance with the Care Standards Act 2000 and all relevant legislation.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Pin (essential).
- Level 4 or Level 5 Management qualification.
- Proven experience managing an elderly nursing home.
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent leadership skills.
- Confident in managing teams and supporting staff development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in elderly care.
