Nursing Direct is recruiting experienced Complex Healthcare Assistants to join our homecare team in Isleworth, London.
The role involves providing personalised support to an individual with complex medical and behavioural needs within a homecare setting.
Responsibilities include:
- supporting daily living and activities
- personal care
- mobility support and manual handling
- managing non-invasive ventilation
- administering gastrostomy feeds
- delivering medication via PEG
- supporting seizure management
- promoting independence and emotional wellbeing
- responding appropriately to behavioural needs
- following personalised care plans and risk assessments
- maintaining safeguarding, infection control and compliance standards
Applicants should have a minimum of six months UK experience in a similar support role, a calm and compassionate approach and an Enhanced DBS issued within the last year or registered on the Update Service.
Nursing Direct offers a competitive rate of £16 per hour, consistent hours, ongoing support and opportunities for further training and development.
