Nursing Direct is seeking compassionate, skilled and dedicated Registered Nurses with paediatric experience to provide specialist care for children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes across North London.
The role involves supporting children living with complex conditions including neurological disorders, spinal injuries, genetic or congenital conditions, acquired brain injuries and long-term health needs. Nurses will work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, individualised and family-centred care.
Applicants must be NMC-registered nurses with demonstrable paediatric experience and experience caring for children with complex medical needs in community or homecare settings. Competence in clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, ventilator support, gastrostomy feeding and seizure management may be required.
Responsibilities include airway management, enteral feeding, medication administration, clinical monitoring, personal care, maintaining accurate care records, contributing to risk assessments and care reviews, and supporting the child's social, emotional and developmental needs.
Applicants must currently reside in the UK, have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of North London. Nursing Direct does not offer visa sponsorship.
