If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in people's lives, we would love to hear from you!Weekdays and Saturdays 10:30 - 18:30, shift times may differ and be from 09:00 - 17:00 if client has physio or hydro appointments on a Wednesday and Friday. Sundays - 11:00 - 19:00.##### Key Responsibilities:* **Moving and Handling:** Assist the client with mobility and moving and handling needs, following appropriate care plans and safe handling procedures. The client has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair for longer distances.* **Wheelchair Assistance:** Be physically able to safely manage the wheelchair, including loading and unloading it from a vehicle and pushing the wheelchair during community outings.* **Personal Care:** Provide assistance with personal care, hygiene and dressing while maintaining the client's dignity, comfort and independence.* **Clinical Equipment:** Ensure clinical equipment is cleaned and maintained as directed by the nurse on duty and in accordance with training.* **Household Duties:** Assist with general household cleaning and maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment.* **Additional Support:** Carry out other appropriate care-related duties as delegated by the nurse on duty, within the carer's training and competency.##### Ideal Candidate:We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, dependable and physically able to meet the demands of the role.
