Description About the Team Screening is the first stage of our Fitness to Practise directorate and we have the exciting opportunity of joining us in the role of Senior Case Support Officer. You will be joining one of our two Administrations teams, providing support, assistance and guidance to our management team and Case Support Officers. About The Role This is a pivotal role in the progression of cases throughout the Screening process. From the initial assessment and logging of concerns through to the distribution of Screening decisions. The Senior Case Support Officer will provide direction and support to the Screening Administration Team, whilst also providing mentoring, training and assisting individuals to meet both their own goals as well as the overall departmental objectives. About You We are looking for an individual with experience of providing administrative support to a large team. You will also have experience of delivery training/guidance on either an individual basis or to a group. Additional Information The role you are applying for is a flexible role, and whilst you will be posted initially to a team, this may require movement between teams as the flow of work dictates. Hybrid Working Policy We are currently working to a policy of office attendance for two days per week with the rest of the time working from home. Our Pay Policy It is expected that staff new to the NMC will ordinarily be appointed to the bottom of the relevant pay band. However in exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to offer a salary above the bottom of the relevant pay band but we may request proof of current earnings.
