Description About the role The Triage Officer role is a new role that sits within the NMCs Screening Team. Youll work as part of team that assesses enquiries from members of the public. You will work autonomously to assess and manage enquiries received in triage to identify whether they raise a fitness to practise concern. You will be responsible for ensuring effective and timely triage assessment, and whether the enquiry raises any risks to the public. In this role you will engage directly with external parties, including the person raising the enquiry, employers and other organisations, providing effective support, guidance and assistance. To support you in your role, you will work collaboratively in partnership with colleagues to identify when you require input.
