Pay: £13.68-£17.18 per hour plus time and a half on Bank Holidays. As a Healthcare Assistant, your hands‑on support and care will be vital to improving patient comfort, dignity, and well‑being. Working alongside nurses and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help ensure a safe, caring, and positive experience for every individual under your care.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver compassionate personal care to patients/service users.
- Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting, feeding, etc.).
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to senior staff.
- Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient‑centred care.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
- Accurately document care provided in line with service requirements.
- Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK (preferred).
- Care Certificate or willingness to complete relevant training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast‑paced environments.
- Commitment to high standards of care and professional practice.
