Hoe Bridge School is seeking to appoint a Level 2 or 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to work with children from six months to four years in the Greenfield Little School Nursery Team. The successful candidate will report to the Nursery Manager and will collaborate with colleagues to provide high‑quality care, support development and promote a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children aged 6 months to 4 years and support their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
  • Foster a positive, energetic environment with warmth and humour.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and staff, communicating effectively and maintaining well‑organised records.
  • Ensure children’s safety, hygiene and wellbeing at all times.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate Early Years or Child‑Care qualification at Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience working with children from six months to four years in a school or nursery setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills, adaptability, flexibility and confidence in dealing with parents, staff and pupils.

Salary

Full‑time equivalent: £25,651 – £28,217 per annum.
