Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the manager to oversee all day‑to‑day nursery operations and ensure smooth running.
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with families and collaborate with external agencies to support each child’s growth and wellbeing.
  • Guide and support the nursery team, keep children safe, and deliver the EYFS in a fun, engaging way that meets all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Level 3 UK‑recognised early years qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Leadership experience within a nursery setting.
  • Enhanced DBS check and ongoing safeguarding training required.
