Early Birds Nursery, rated Good by Ofsted, seeks an Early Years Assistant Manager to support the Early Years Manager in delivering outstanding early years education and care.

Job Purpose

As part of the nursery management team, the Early Years Assistant Manager will inspire and lead the team to deliver high quality inclusive early years education and care in line with policies and procedure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in delivering high quality inclusive early years education and care
  • Model sensitive and responsive interaction, extend children’s learning and be a role model for the wider staff team
  • Maintain quality and safety standards at all times
  • Support the Early Years Manager in the provision of daily nursery operations and decision-making

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience in early education and childcare settings
  • Strong written communication skills for reports, correspondence and safeguarding reporting
  • Ability to inspire a team, deliver results and set clear objectives
  • Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check if not currently subscribed to the update service
