Our Lunch Cover Nursery Assistants enable children to engage in a range of play and learning opportunities and to participate in the day to day activities within the nursery. You will have passion and enthusiasm for safeguarding children and delivering high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- A Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Ability to adhere to policies and procedures
- Sufficient understanding and use of English
- Ability to work as a team member and organise own workload
- Ability to be a reflective team member in order to develop your practice
- Ability to communicate effectively with all children, staff and families
- Ability to support an environment which is inclusive for all and encourages diversity
- Ability to plan, provide and evaluate a wide range of play and learning opportunities which meet children’s individual needs
Experience:
- Experience of working with children aged under 5
- Experience of providing play and learning opportunities for children
- Experience serving food and dealing with hygiene practices is desirable, though training is provided
