We’ve launched a brand-new garden and landscape supplies centre in Eltham—and we’re now looking for an experienced Garden Centre Manager to lead the way. This is a unique opportunity to build a business from the ground up, backed by over 20 years of experience through our established trade business, ID Landscaping. You’ll have the full support of our Managing Director and landscaping project team, giving you access to expert advice, industry insights, and trusted trade-tested products to help drive both retail and trade sales.
About the Role
As the Manager you’ll be the go-to person for running daily operations, leading a small team, growing customer relationships, and shaping the store’s direction as we launch. From selecting stock to helping customers, you’ll have the freedom to make your mark—knowing you’re supported by a team that understands the industry inside‑out.
Key Skills
- 5+ years managing a landscape supplies yard or garden centre
- Great people skills – with staff, suppliers & customers
- Experience with supplier accounts and trade relationships
- Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft SharePoint)
- Experience with online stores and POS systems
- Retail experience in landscaping or horticulture
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a hands‑on approach to leadership
