Our services span various care settings, supporting clients with diverse needs, including learning difficulties, complex care, mental health, dementia, and elderly care.

As a Homecare Worker, you will support clients holistically to promote their well-being and quality of life. Support tasks may include companionship, medication administration, nutritional assistance, and personal care at clients’ homes. You will need to follow individual care plans.

What Nurseplus offers as a Homecare Worker:

  • Flexible shifts—full or part-time, days, nights, and weekends
  • Minimum call length of 2 hours
  • Pay rates from £13.45 to £20.17 per hour, paid weekly
  • Free training aligned with the Care Certificate
  • Ongoing support and development, including in-house courses and funded qualifications like distance learning, NVQ Level 2 and 3
  • Annual pay increases
  • Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light Card with discounts online and on the high street

Requirements for Homecare Workers:

  • Must be over 18
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license (travel expenses covered up to 50p per mile)
  • At least 6 months of complex care experience in the UK
  • Good standard of English and effective communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (cost £45.40, refunded after a set period of work; application available upon registration)
