Nurseplus is looking for a driven and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our Basingstoke branch on a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing business, and managing the full recruitment cycle within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting branch growth through 360 recruitment and business development, helping connect healthcare professionals with rewarding opportunities while delivering outstanding service to clients.

The Role

This is a hands-on recruitment role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, sourcing candidates, and ensuring high levels of service delivery across the branch. You’ll work closely with healthcare clients across the region while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of quality candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • 360 Recruitment
  • Managing the full recruitment process from attraction through to placement
  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding healthcare candidates
  • Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline
  • Managing candidate compliance and onboarding processes
  • Business Development
  • Developing new business opportunities across the local healthcare sector
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conducting sales activity including calls, meetings, and networking
  • Supporting branch growth and revenue targets
  • Client & Candidate Management
  • Delivering excellent customer service to both clients and candidates
  • Managing staffing requirements efficiently and professionally
  • Building long-term working relationships across the region
  • On-Call Support
  • Participating in the branch on-call rota to support out-of-hours staffing requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous recruitment, sales, or customer service experience is desirable
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and motivated attitude
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
