What You’ll Do

As a health screening nurse with Nurseplus, your role will be as rewarding as it is varied. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting preventative health and wellbeing assessments.
  • Clinical Assessments: Perform pre-placement checks, driver medicals, and routine health surveillance.
  • Taking biological samples (venepuncture).
  • Performing tests (ECG, vision, audiometry, spirometry).
  • Immunisations: Administer workplace vaccinations and review immunity/exposure histories.
  • Interpret clinical results, produce detailed clinical reports, and communicate necessary findings to GPs or management.
  • Health Promotion: Provide tailored lifestyle, wellbeing, and occupational advice to individuals.

What We Need From You

  • A current and unrestricted NMC registration.
  • At least twelve months of UK-based paid experience.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of English and effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
