What You’ll Do
As a health screening nurse with Nurseplus, your role will be as rewarding as it is varied. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting preventative health and wellbeing assessments.
- Clinical Assessments: Perform pre-placement checks, driver medicals, and routine health surveillance.
- Taking biological samples (venepuncture).
- Performing tests (ECG, vision, audiometry, spirometry).
- Immunisations: Administer workplace vaccinations and review immunity/exposure histories.
- Interpret clinical results, produce detailed clinical reports, and communicate necessary findings to GPs or management.
- Health Promotion: Provide tailored lifestyle, wellbeing, and occupational advice to individuals.
What We Need From You
- A current and unrestricted NMC registration.
- At least twelve months of UK-based paid experience.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of English and effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
