As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide tailored compassionate care in various settings, supporting individuals to live independently and with dignity within their communities. You may be required to work short (4-8 hour) or longer shifts. Shift patterns vary depending on the care package and support needs of each person we support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and promoting independence.
- Work with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, severe mental health issues, challenging behaviour, and eating disorders.
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all service users.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in healthcare.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not mandatory if five years of experience).
- Valid driving license (manual preferred).
- Experience in schools, supported living, and residential care.
- Training in PMVA and PBS (preferred).
- Clean Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Ability to handle last-minute changes and cover shifts on short notice.
