Job Overview

• The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services directly in people\’s homes.
• Provide mobility support, including basic moving and handling.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Help with meal preparation, nutrition, hydration, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and, when needed, financial assistance.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Refer-a-friend bonus – incentives for introducing new workers to the company (recently rolled out).

• On‑shift support and guidance through the on‑call system.

Experience

• 6 months of previous experience in healthcare settings, in community or home‑based care.
• Experience in managing complex health needs, with a focus on mental health, and working with diverse populations.
• Driving licence is essential for community work and transport of the people we support.
• PMVA training is required.
