A leading private healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join their established theatre team in Crowborough. Working closely with the Theatre Manager, Clinical Leads and a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver high standards of patient care while supporting the safe, efficient and effective running of the theatre department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of the theatre department, including workload, staffing and resources.
- Provide senior clinical leadership and take responsibility for the department in the absence of the Theatre Manager.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care throughout the perioperative journey.
- Supervise, mentor and support junior staff, contributing to their ongoing development and training.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.
- Lead or support the team during emergency situations and contribute to incident and complaint management.
- Promote best practice, professional standards and a positive, supportive working environment.
- Maintain professional competence, mandatory training and knowledge of current perioperative practices.
