Nurse Seekers are proud to be seeking a skilled and compassionate Scrub or Theatre Nurse to join their client's specialist eye surgery team in Edinburgh. The Role
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the theatre setting.
- Assist in surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor patients throughout their procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team for efficient patient care.
- Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols.
- Accurately document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
About You
- Previous experience as a Theatre Practitioner or in a similar role (preferred).
- Experience in ophthalmology (a strong advantage).
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care principles.
- Proven ability to analyse situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Expertise in maintaining a sterile environment and infection prevention practices.
- Basic Life Support certification (essential).
