Nurse Seekers is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected independent college that is seeking a compassionate and professional Residential House Parent to join their pastoral and boarding team.
This rewarding residential role plays a key part in creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment for students living away from home. Working closely with the Senior House Parent, you will act in loco parentis, ensuring students thrive both personally and academically.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily pastoral care and overseeing student welfare
- Supporting students’ personal, academic, and social development
- Ensuring boarding house routines, discipline, and safety standards are met
- Maintaining records and communication with families and college staff
- Participating in a full programme of extra-curricular activities and weekend duties
The ideal candidate will:
- Be empathetic, responsible, and highly organised
- Have prior experience working with young people in a residential or pastoral setting
- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Understand and uphold safeguarding practices (training provided)
