Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a quality Afterschool and Holiday Club Childcare provider who provide wraparound care. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Playworker to work in their amazing centre in Bournemouth.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Implementing a varied, stimulating and exciting range of activities that meet the children’s developmental needs.
- Ensuring the facility is ready for use, by setting up and clearing away.
- Working as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
- Establishing positive relationships with children and their families.
- Working in close partnership with all school staff and supporting the whole school ethos.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Adhere to and promote all school policies.
- Safeguard children and promote health and safety.
- Promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Maintain a close liaison with class teachers in order to be aware of and respond appropriately to the needs of all children in your care.
- Take responsibility for personal professional development, including participation in own annual appraisal, any necessary training, and keeping abreast of all current issues relating to providing this service.
