Job Description

Occupational Therapist
Permanent | Full Time (36 hours per week)
Term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

We are working in partnership with a specialist independent college supporting young adults aged 19–25 with moderate, severe, and profound learning disabilities, including autism, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. The provision is expanding in September 2025 with a relocation across two new sites in Sunbury-on-Thames and Hounslow, offering exciting opportunities for professional growth.

The college delivers three educational pathways: Vocational, Life and Living, and Engagement for Life, enabling learners to achieve meaningful outcomes and greater independence.

The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Occupational Therapist to join their on-site therapy team. You will support young adults with highly complex needs, contributing to sensory, motor and functional development to enhance access to learning. Working closely with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary partners, you will design and deliver individualised therapy programmes to ensure students make exceptional progress.

Applicants should ideally have a minimum of two years' experience within a specialist school or college environment supporting individuals with PMLD, SLD and autism. Leadership and service development experience is advantageous.
