The successful candidate must have a real passion for childcare and be able to bring fun, joy, smiles and laughter to the children whilst providing a safe, high quality education with positive outcomes for each child. Essential Criteria Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+). Knowledgeable in areas relating to child development. 5+ years’ post-qualification experience shaping little lives, with proven Management skills. A passion for a play-based approach to children’s learning and development. Great communication skills, including the ability to understand babble. Key Responsibilities To lead and manage the nursery on a day-to-day basis, providing safe, high quality education and care for all children. To take responsibility for ensuring that performance management systems are in place and followed e.g. induction, probation, supervision, team meetings, objective setting etc. To draw up and to supervise the daily programme of activities and events.
