We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established care provider for Domiciliary Care Workers to support individuals in their own homes across the local area. The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients with personal care and daily routines
- Assisting with medication where required
- Preparing meals and supporting with household tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting individuals to maintain their independence
- Assisting clients with dementia and other care needs
- Following individual care plans
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Reporting any concerns regarding a client's health or wellbeing
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Caring, compassionate and patient
- Reliable and responsible
- Comfortable providing personal care
- A good communicator
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about providing high standards of care
- Previous care experience is desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
