Food is a big part of daily life in a care setting, and youll have the opportunity to make mealtimes something residents genuinely look forward to. Preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. Catering for individual dietary requirements and preferences. Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety. Ordering ingredients and ensuring food supplies are maintained. Monitoring food costs and working within agreed budgets. Helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable mealtime environment. Were looking for someone who is passionate about food and understands the importance of providing excellent catering within a care environment. A Level 3 Catering qualification , or be willing to work towards one. At least 2 years' catering experience , ideally within a busy environment. A good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety. This isn't simply a job in a kitchen.
