You'll work alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses in a positive environment that encourages professional development, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same.
Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostics.
- Monitoring anaesthesia and providing exceptional peri-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments in line with veterinary instructions.
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and faecal samples.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with RCVS standards.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, infection control, and equipment sterilisation throughout the practice.
RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Previous experience within a small animal practice.
- Competitive salary of £28,000 - £36,000 , dependent on experience.
