Set within seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, this elegant country house offers a peaceful and homely environment for up to 36 elderly residents requiring residential care.

The Role
As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.
You will work as part of the wider team to ensure the home is maintained to a high standard, helping to create a pleasant and homely environment for residents to enjoy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning residents' bedrooms and communal areas to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- Cleaning bathrooms, corridors, lounges, dining areas and other shared spaces
- Changing bedding and maintaining residents' rooms as required
- Ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and appropriately
- Following appropriate infection prevention and control procedures
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate member of staff
- Working respectfully around residents and taking care not to disturb their comfort and routine
- Supporting a warm, welcoming and homely environment
- Working closely with the care and wider housekeeping team
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation at all times

About You
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning or domestic experience is desirable
- Experience within a care home, hotel or similar environment would be advantageous
