Requirements for this role include:
- A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or Childcare
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- The ability to plan engaging educational activities that support learning and development
- A genuine passion for working with children
Your Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and flourish. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality care and supervision for children
- Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences
- Supporting children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
- Promoting children's wellbeing, safety, and welfare at all times
- Following safeguarding policies and procedures
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Encouraging children's confidence, curiosity, and independence
- Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, health, and safety throughout the setting
