About the Role
As part of a welcoming and supportive team, you will play a vital role in fostering children’s learning and growth. Whether you are a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner, an Apprentice, or an Unqualified Nursery Nurse eager to begin your career, there is an opportunity for you. A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is desirable but not essential for apprentices and unqualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring individual development is supported.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification (or equivalent).
- Apprentices & Unqualified candidates: A keen interest in childcare and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices (training provided).
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their development.
- A caring, nurturing, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
