About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care home in Birmingham, seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, delivering high-quality clinical care to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care to residents
- Carry out clinical assessments, care planning, and reviews
- Administer medications in line with NMC guidelines and home policies
- Supervise and support care assistants and junior staff
- Liaise with GPs, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies and escalation concerns appropriately
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
What We're Looking For
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN) with no restrictions
- Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar clinical setting (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality elderly or specialist care
- Right to work in the UK
