Location: New Tredegar

Salary: £14.55 - £14.65 per hour + Excellent Benefits

Hours: 36 or 48hr Contracts (weekends on rotation)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their welcoming and well-established Residential Care Home in New Tredegar. The home provides high-quality long-term residential care as well as short-term respite care, with a strong focus on delivering person-centred support in a warm, family-orientated environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive outstanding care while supporting and mentoring the wider care team. You'll lead by example, promote best practice, administer medication where required, and help maintain the highest standards of care throughout the home.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Carer
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience administering medication (highly desirable)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
