Nurse Seekers are recruiting for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a friendly, supportive school community in Portsmouth. This is a part time role working afternoon shifts Monday to Friday during Term Time only.

The successful School Nurse will play a key role in the school’s Health & Wellbeing Centre, providing first aid, emergency care and day-to-day clinical support to pupils and staff. You’ll also work closely with parents, teachers and healthcare professionals to ensure pupils receive safe, responsive and holistic care.

The School are looking for:

  • NMC-registered RGN, ideally equivalent to Band 6 or higher
  • Paediatric, school nursing or child-focused experience
  • A calm, confident approach in an emergency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Someone approachable, caring and emotionally intelligent
  • Ability to work autonomously while being a strong team player

The role:

  • Portsmouth
  • Monday–Friday, 12pm–5pm
  • 25 hours per week
  • Term-time only, including INSET days
  • Salary aligned to NHS Band 6+, dependent on experience
