Nursery Manager Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of an excellent Nursery who are in a unique position, where they can consider either a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager to join their senior leadership team! The ideal candidate will need to maintain strong organisation skills and attention to detail and display resourcefulness to ensure the setting has the right culture, policies and resources to deliver the high standards of childcare and early years education expected by parents, Ofsted, and in accordance with the companies values This is 58-place day nursery, for 3 months to five-year olds. For this position you are required to have: Early years education and care qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Experience in a leadership capacity Understanding of special educational needs and equality of opportunity Paediatric first-aid and food hygiene trained Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally Experience with nursery administration (children invoices, payroll and timesheets) Competent PC user (word processing, spreadsheets, emails) Experience in providing staff training Main duties and responsibilities Conducting thorough risk assessments of the nursery environment and effectively ensures that relevant Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at the …
