Join Nurseplus as a Mental Health Support Worker and make a difference every day. As a temporary Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care across a range of settings, from supported living to mental health units and secure units, offering support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and more complex care needs.
You will become part of a compassionate team where every contribution counts. Experience of working with 1:1s would be advantageous but is not essential. Ideally, you will have at least 12 months experience in a mental health setting and restraint training in the last 12 months (with certification), although FREE CPI training is provided if not.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, mainly providing support to their everyday needs and promoting independence, working as part of a team or independently. You will work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity, providing the physical and emotional support they might need to achieve their goals.

- You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
- A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
- Full and Active UK Drivers Licence.
