About The Role

Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do. We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship.
  • Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Skills & Experience

  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour & success.
  • Coachable.
  • Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
  • Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
  • Reliable way to get to and from the client's home. Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
  • National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector).
  • Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
  • NDIS Clearance.
