About the Role: Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® are at the heart of everything we do, enabling us to support members of the ageing and disability community to live fulfilling lives at home for as long as possible, doing what they love to do. To meet the diverse needs of our clients, we provide care around the clock. Visits may be scheduled in the early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight, ensuring support is always available when it is needed most.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship.
  • Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Skills & Experience:

  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • A self‑led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour & success.
  • Coachable.
  • Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
  • Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
  • Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes. Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
  • National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector).
  • Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
  • NDIS Worker Screener Clearance.
