We\’re looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a warm and welcoming children\’s home in Aylesbury. Responsibilities
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children aged 8-17
- Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Promoting independence and life skills through daily routines and activities
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of each child
- Working collaboratively with a team and external professionals
- Participating in activities, school runs, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Completing daily logs and contributing to care plans
- Taking part in sleep-in shifts and occasional weekend work
What We\\\’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (residential care ideal, but not essential)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it – full funding provided)
