About the Role: Nursdoc Healthcare Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Disability Service within the Community Learning Disability and Autism Team in Guernsey. This position provides a chance to deliver high-quality, client-centered Occupational Therapy services in a stunning island location — with accommodation and travel costs fully covered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a defined caseload within the Adult Community Learning Disability and Autism Team
  • Deliver assessments, plan and implement interventions using evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to set and achieve realistic goals
  • Contribute to service development, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain professional standards and participate in ongoing CPD and supervision

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • DBS on update service or issued within the last 12 months
  • HCPC registration
  • Available for an 18 week contract starting ASAP
  • Experience with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and IT skills
  • Full UK Category B driving license

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of sensory integration approaches
  • Experience in community-based interventions and autism-focused care
