The Role

As a Bodyshop Paint Sprayer, you will be at the heart of the preparation and finishing process — delivering everything from minor touch-ups to full body resprays across a varied fleet of vehicles. You will work as part of a close-knit bodyshop team and play a direct role in maintaining the high presentation standards the dealership is known for.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Carry out paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, from minor repairs to full resprays
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces ready for painting — including sanding, priming, and masking
  • Paint mechanical, underbody, and miscellaneous vehicle components
  • Match colours accurately and achieve a consistent, high-quality finish
  • Work efficiently to meet turnaround times without compromising on quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment

What You Will Bring

Essential:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or Prepper in an automotive bodyshop environment
  • Ability to carry out a full range of restoration and respray tasks to a high standard
  • Strong colour-matching skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working to production targets and repair schedules
Useful, not essential:
  • Experience working within a franchised or volume used car dealership
  • Familiarity with water-based paint systems
