We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are seeking an experienced and trend-aware Senior Nursery Product Designer (m/f/d) to lead and deliver innovative, commercially successful designs across nursery categories including strollers, car seats, and in-home gear.
This role requires a confident, creative thinker with a strong understanding of form, function, and fashion, someone who can identify global trends, translate them into thoughtful design concepts, and drive products from ideation through to final specification. You will play a key role in setting the seasonal direction, presenting compelling design stories, and crafting product solutions that meet both aesthetic and technical requirements. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential, as is a solid understanding of how to work within the constraints of nursery product safety, usability, and manufacturing.
What you'll do:
- Product Design & Development: Lead the design and development of nursery products from concept through to production. Design across hard and soft goods, collaborating closely with engineering, sourcing, and marketing teams. Create detailed concept sketches, colourways, material specs, and tech packs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Research & Strategy: Translate seasonal trends and market research into product stories, mood boards, and direction. Conduct and interpret competitor and consumer research to inform product strategy. Balance creativity with commercial awareness, ensuring designs meet cost, timeline, and brand objectives.
- Communication & Leadership: Present ideas and final concepts clearly to internal teams and senior stakeholders. Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity, curiosity, and innovation.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally within nursery, lifestyle, fashion, or soft goods sectors.
- Experience designing for strollers, car seats, or other consumer products is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with 3D tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CMF (colour, material, finish) and how to translate insights into commercial designs.
- Proven ability to lead design projects from concept through to production.
- Strong trend forecasting skills and a confident understanding of seasonal direction.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product development, engineering, sourcing, and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passionate about creating beautiful, functional products with user experience at the core.
What You’ll Get:
- Career Growth Opportunities: Access to continuous learning and development programs to help you advance in your career.
- Competitive Compensation Package: Attractive compensation package to ensure your well-being.
- Dynamic Global Environment: Gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing international company, with exposure to global best practices.
- Diverse & Supportive Team: Collaborate with a talented, multicultural team and learn from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
- Professional Development: Grow your skills and career with the fast-expanding company.
