The Opportunity
We are working with one of the industry’s most influential players, and we’re on a mission to shape the future of how the world moves money. Rapid digitisation is transforming every aspect of our lives, and our payments organisation is at the very core of this evolution. This role exists to lead the strategy and modernisation of their Card and Connected Commerce platforms. You will be the architect of the next generation of payment experiences, building the foundation for seamless digital commerce at a massive scale. This is a high-visibility leadership position. You aren't just managing a product; you are conceptualising 0-1 platforms that will improve the lives of millions of customers and drive global growth for the brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define the overarching vision and product strategy for our payments line.
- Conceptualise and build new payment platforms from 0-1, including full-scale delivery.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers to foster innovation.
- Manage executive stakeholder relationships, communicating strategy and performance.
- Partner with Technology, Design, and Analytics to lead cross-functional development.
- Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation for engineering.
- Oversee the product backlog, prioritising support and remediation when necessary.
- Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure a robust control environment.
