Numi are partnered with an exciting early-stage venture backed by leading global telecoms. They’re on a mission to restore trust in voice communication with next-generation network-native security and AI-powered services. This is a foundational hire – you’ll help build the platform, shape the engineering culture, and have real impact from day one.
The Role
This isn’t pipeline maintenance. You’ll take full ownership of platform reliability, performance, and security, powering mission-critical, low-latency products and AI-driven features.
What You’ll Own
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure from scratch with Terraform
- Lead Zero Trust security implementation: micro-segmentation, strict IAM, mTLS, immutable logs
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices
- Own observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS), real-time data streams (Kafka), and high-performance APIs
- Co-own incident response and alerting to maintain 99.9%+ uptime
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Terraform / IaC expertise
- Observability stack experience
- Scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar)
Nice-to-Haves
- Zero Trust / mTLS experience
- Low-latency / high-throughput systems experience
- Kubernetes automation tools (e.g., ArgoCD)
Who You Are
